Womens Widow Group Ooty

This project now includes around 400 women who have either been widowed or abandoned.

The women are given work and assisted in earning a living.

Around 200 children are benefitting from remain with their mothers and being correctly fed and educated.

The benefits are remarkable and this project goes from strength to strength.

The women are from all religions and their integration proves inspiring.

Some have very sad tales, including one woman who was attacked with acid by her husband and is not extremely disfigured. This group gives her a santury with her daughter as she is completely accepted and joins in the group.
